Six new works accompanied four previous works iii this display. local scenes explored the closeness to the natural world that I feel when visiting. I was able to travel to the district prior to making these works, armed w with several hundred new images of domestic locations.

I was particularly pleased to facilitate the placement of two canvases within the offices of Cox Architecture in Sydney. Those paintings depicted an inspiring Peterborough shed where industry, ingenuity, skills and creative solutions abound. It was nice for me that they now sit within Phillip Cox’s premises, for he has, importantly, forwarded an enriched understanding of Australian vernacular architecture to the world.
